Darryl Vashaun Stanford, Quality Management Director/Partner

Bio: Mr. Stanford, a former teacher with Wake County Public School system and a graduate from North Carolina Central University has been working in the human services field for the past eight years. "As a former teacher of students with behavior problems, I strive to meet the social and academic needs of all my students!" Prior to entering the education and human services field, he worked in the banking and insurance field. Mr. Stanford is very open-minded and enjoys enriching the lives of others through mentoring and counseling.
Elizabeth Grady, LPC, NCC, Clinical Director/Partner

Bio: Elizabeth is a Licensed Professional and Nationally Certified Counselor. Liz has over 12 years post Bachelor’s experience working with adults and children with mental health needs, developmental disabilities and addictive disorders. Liz is an empathetic and enthusiastic person who is active in her community. Her entrepreneurial spirit has been impactful and motivating to mental health professionals throughout the state. As Clinical Director of Turning Point Family CARE, Liz makes every effort to provide a cheerful and well-balanced work environment.
Arlinda Kay Rodriquez, Director of Operations / Partner

Bio: Ms. Rodriquez is a graduate of North Carolina Central University. Ms. Rodriquez has over 10 years of experience in North Carolina mental health, and has been in management for the past 4 years. Ms. Rodriquez has a strong passion for helping others, and strives to make a better, safer, and healthier community.
Dr. Jennie Byrne, Medical Director

Bio: Dr. Byrne is a board-certified adult psychiatrist who treats adults with dementia, attention deficit, anxiety, depression and other mental health problems. She also has a doctorate in neurophysiology and has done extensive research on attention, memory and depression. Dr Byrne’s mission is to bring cutting-edge research to the treatment of people with cognitive problems like attention deficits and memory loss. She believes that good communication is essential to medical care and she uses the latest technology to actively communicate with patients, families, caregivers and other health care providers. Her treatment approach includes medication management, cognitive behavioral therapy, individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, cognitive testing, and psychoeducation.
Chenita Rountree, LCAS, LCSW, Clinical Program Manager-Durham County

Bio: Ms. Rountree has been with Turning Point for many years, bringing many years of experience with mental health and substance abuse. Ms. Rountree brings leadership, balance and a sense of collaboration to the Durham county office. Ms. Rountree oversees the clinical operations of the Durham county office, and is always looking for opportunities to build stronger relationships and community partnerships within Durham County.
Karen Register, LMFT, Clinical Program Manager-Raleigh

Bio: Karen is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Family Life Educator. For the past several years, Karen has been fulfilling the role as Intensive In Home Team Leader working with children, teens and adults in the local community. She enjoys providing services in a variety of settings that include the home, school and community. Karen is passionate about areas including grief and bereavement, self-image, parent-child relationships, depression/anxiety and medical family therapy. Karen displays an enthusiastic spirit & strong desire to empower those around her.
Willie Hatch, Day Treatment Program Manager

Bio: Mr. Hatch has been in mental health for the past 10 years, a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill and dedicated father, He works around the clock to ensure that the needs of all his consumers are met. Mr. Hatch brings good character, integrity and energy to the Turning Point Family CARE team.
